A lot of people who scoop up the 2009 Remasters will only be vaguely aware of what went into the audio refinements applied to these precious recordings. Much has been made about the remastered Beatles catalog, and for good reason: it rocks! I could go into glossy detail about the sound - how the mids are smoother, the bass is punchier, the highs crispier, less noise, more EQ, greater dynamics, you feel like you were there, blah, blah, blah.
